Love how your sidewinders look! Mine are going to be some crazy wide stipes, I didn't get to follow along this weekend so I will have to play a little catch up. But yeah I had the same problem with my toe puckering, will be interested to hear if knitting in the stitch below works better for you.

Neato! I can't help but think those would look great in a strongly stripping yarn.

That was a speedy knit. Love that colorway. I just bought some yarn to give the pattern a whirl! Like I needed more yarn - but it was Opal. The storied sock yarn

It's interesting to see how the yarn stripes vertically. Better get that second one otn!

Beautiful Sidewinder Maia.
I had the same issue with the increases but on the foot the heel and the toe looks very nice and the puckering kind of disappear, I guess you can see it in your toes but I think the human heel fix it even better than toes.

Now I understand! I was wondering how this was going to work. Simple sock knitter that I am. But now I want to try one!

So will you make the mods in the next SOCK or the next PAIR? I'm always torn on making them match or making one right.

I'm enjoying this project but wish I could try them on as I go!

Very pretty! I want to do this but had too crazy of a week last week to keep up (not to mention I have yet to get gauge). I hope your back is better. What helps yours -- rest? exercises? yoga? It's the latter two for me, and I should do more of both.

Love it. Let us know how the different stitch works out. Since I haven't started mine yet...

Great job with your sock -- it was really fun watching your progress!

I like your modification ideas and think making the medium width with extra short rows is an excellent solution. The paired increases were really tricky -- I couldn't find anything that was perfect and finally settled on the raised-bar. Swatch the "knitting into the stitch below" increase before you use it in your sock. I tried this one and felt it was the most distorting.

Looks great! I love the way the yarn looks knit sideways.

Just stopping by to say hi! :)

How's every little thing?
