After going through your blog, I'm truly inspired to give sock knitting another try. I prefer (?how on Earth would I know?) toe up and the short row heel just didn't work too well for me so it's great to see you use a variety of heels. Thanks, Maia!

I just tried my first toe-up gusset heel and it was no big deal. I'd like to try some other methods. Robyn at Red Bird Knits managed to create one that looks identical to the top-down version. I'm very curious to learn how she does that.
