Heirloom Tomatoes

Heirloom Tomatoes

Every summer I load up on sweet juicy heirloom tomatoes. Slice them and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh garden basil. Mostly merino self-striping yarn made from carded color batts and Navajo plied to maintain the colors.

This is from my pre-blog days when I was playing with various techniques and seeing how far I could push my limits and how different spinning techniques made for different knit fabrics.
