Strange Days Socks

Yarn: 1 skein (easily, I used about 3 of the 4 ounces) of Strange Days fingering weight washable merino wool hand dyed by Pippi Knee Socks.
Needle: US size 1 double pointed needles
Pattern: My own.
Completed: January 14, 2007.

I feel totally in love with this yarn when I saw it. The combination of colors seems unusual to me, but so very right. I wanted to make something special with the yarn. I tried to force the issue by
swatching a zillion pattern stitches before admitting that the best way to honor it was to knit it plain. For more on this sock, read this post.
